Now you're a pony. Were you a pony all along, or is this a new and baffling experience to you? I dunno. The only answer I have is PONIES AND MAGIC.

Eh? [The unicorn blinks for a moment.]

[Mod seems more interested in kicking up a patch of turf with a forehoof.]

But Stern Bild's a metropolis not... a village, and I don't look--

[Well, Ivan hasn't figured out that this transformation isn't his doing despite he inability to change back to normally.]

[Mod appears to have exhausted the entertainment value of the grass, however, as he looks up with a sigh at the homely little village the pair are stood in.]

[That causes Ivan to hop back a few inches]

London?! That's nowhere near Stern Bild!

[So much for this being a NEXT related incident... unless it was a really, really powerful NEXT]

[Ah, but he has heard of it- so, wherever this lad was from, London existed in that world too. That was a mark up in Mod's books already.]

[He looks incrementally more interested with a smile about as trustworthy as a bear-trap.]

It isn't? Well, it seems this place isn't either, so perhaps you're closer than you think. At least, you might be, if it exists here at all.

If it did, it might not be my Stern Bild.

[That's probably unclear...]

[Mod clops a front hoof down in a manner that says 'blow me down' without so many words.] So you're in the same boat too, lad? Excellent, we can go stark raving bonkers together.

Even if your form changes shape, you're still you.

[Transforming is completely normal to Ivan; it's the not being able to change back that's weird.]

... I can try asking someone about where we are...

Oh, so you know that do you?

[Having been several things that he wasn't really meant to be, a potentially immortal holograph included in the mix, Mod hadn't been expecting to have quite that much in common with the blandly polite stranger.]

[Then again, appearances, deceiving, all that.]

I suppose you could, but do you expect to have ever heard of it? [He picks up a front hoof to waggle it about demonstrably.] If this is your first time looking like this, anyhow.

[Ivan does, though sometimes he wishes he could be what he transforms into rather than an imitation.]

Well then, we've firmly established that you're an idiot.

[Mod gives his new acquaintance a deeply patronizing grin that described they were obviously making progress.]

The question is what can we do to resolve that- or better yet, resolve me having to deal with you.

[Ivan lowers his head.]

... I'm sorry. I can go.

[He's good at staying in the background. Maybe he can watch and gather some info about where this place is.]

[Oh, come on, that's no fun!]

What? That's it?

[A sooty hoof gives the unicorn a shove on the sternum.] You turned into a pony, not a jellyfish! Come on lad, show a bit of backbone!

[He's turned into a lot of things, and the fact that he didn't fall over at the shove suggests he's done the four legged thing before. He turns to face the red pony.]

What do you want me to do?

[Suddenly, Ivan's horn glows a bright blue. The glow overtakes his body, and in a flash, mirror image of Mod!Pony stands where Ivan once was.]

[Mod is unaware of this new event for the moment, having turned away to expound with his eyes shut, aloof and lecturing.]

Well for a start you can be some entertainment to talk to; it's no fun at all if you just flop about and say 'I surrender' at the drop of a hat- what are you French?

[He turns back with a contemptuous snort.]

Try to be a bit more like mEHEAHOOSAWHAT!?

AHHH! I'm sorry! I wasn't trying to shift into you! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!

[Ivan says in his voice at first, but then it switched to Mod's voice.]

I thought I was past having problems controlling this...

[Well, okay that is... pretty interesting.]

[Mod's shock is quickly replaced by avid intrigue, walking around the exact duplicate with all the enthusiasm of a scientist discovering a new element.] Well well well, that is something... one person in two places at once, yes, I can imagine that would be very useful indeed...

[That grin doesn't imply that it would be 'useful' in a beneficial way for anyone other than himself.]

[Ivan takes a few steps back.]

[Is it clear that Ivan doesn't know a lot about using his power practically? He knows a few things but... not a lot]

They are quite a handful

I don't think Reki has fully realized Mod is the other pony yet XD

He'll probably start crying when he does

Mod would approve so that probably wouldn't work also augh lag sorry

Considering Reki is having problems figuring out how to carry it, he'd probably hit himself with it
